1. Draw algorithms were updated to use first Draw Pot candidates using unique partners, secondly using Pick pot candidates using unique partners and finally Draw Pot and Pick Pot candidates without unique partner criteria.

1. Added payoff for 11 to 20 places
2. With Pick & Draw Roping with Draw Unique Partners checked, the draw will allow Pick entries to be used for draw partners if necessary.
3. Updated Timersheets w/ HandiCap report to accurately use Min/Max Handicap amounts.
4. Incentive teams are marked on reports with *Inc and on the header of the Time Entry page with ‘(Incentive)’.
5. A roping with an over and under handicap is considered a slide or equalizer roping and the draw is random. Draw Unique Partners is not used for this draw.

1. Fixed issue with Capped draw, when “Draw Unique Partners is Possible” was selected and the computer must draw extra runs because the header count and heeler count are not equal. Prior to this release, the computer drawn partner may not be unique if several rounds of partners must be drawn. That issue has been fixed, so if theoretically possible, unique partners will be drawn.

1. Add the maximum handicaps, both up and down. None or 0 will result in no maximum handicap.
2. Add Contestant reports | Email List.
3. Add additional payoffs. This is only available for full installs, not upgrades.
4. Update Contestant Winnings report, only listing contestants who have won money.

5. Add the ability to have an Incentive side pot in the roping. The payoff will need to make sure that an incentive percent is defined for the Results with Payoff report to be generated properly.

7. Add ACTRA results report.
8. Add buy back feature to the roping. If a roping has buy back enabled, it will allow a team to buy back one steer per round. The Contestant Fees and Contestant Balance Sheets reports will include the buy back information. No payoff calculations have been modified to include the buy back money. If it is desired, the roping Added money can be adjusted to include the buy back money.

9. Correct the spelling of Barrier Penalty on the Production page.
10. Correct the amount owed by contestants if they receive free runs.
11. Add Prize Deductions field to the roping definition. This is a dollar amount to be subtracted from the total payout.
12. Instruct secretary to press the Update button before proceeding to the Next Team, when entering team times, if the time has not been saved to the database.
13. On the Enter Time page another field has been added to indicate the time needed by the current team to place. The number of places to pay, determines when this information is available and is found on the Enter Time tab.
14. Add 'Pick or Draw' to the type of ropings are supported.

1. Fixed issue when entering a time for a team with a handicap. It was incorrectly putting the handicap in the total amount when the team had a no time.

2.5.0.0 May 2014 Release – Overview
1. Fixed issue with Capped draw, drawing teams over the roping number. This could possibly happen if there were more heelers than headers and the heeler number was more than .5 the roping number and “Draw Unique Partners is Possible” was selected.
2. Fixed an issue where the entry fee for the roping was incorrect in the reports when there was more than one roping with the same identical name.
3. Resolved error messages when opening the “Contestant Balance Sheet” when no results had been generated.
4. The installer will now remove the TempData/Settings.xml file upon uninstall.

2. Fixed a bug when upgrading from 2.2 to 2.3. Contestants that existed prior to the upgrade would no longer show the appropriate classification.

3. Add ability to delete a contestant.
4. Add a report for Round Robin 1 Head Results. This lists the headers and the heelers with their total time on all steers. This functionality is located on the Tools & Reports | Reports tab.

5. Made the default rating for a contestant to be 0 or “”. This will eliminate contestants being entered into the system with a rating of 3 if the user doesn’t update the rating. The program will force the user to change the rating for contestants not already in the database.

1. Added support for displaying the payoff in a per Man format. There is now a selection in the Payoff parameters box on the Reports tab that will allow you to select either the Payoff/Team or a Payoff/Man format.
2. Fix bug when displaying a fixed payoff format on the Results with Payoff report.
3. Fix bug with a handicap Round Robin roping. This type of roping potentially would generate an “index out of range error”

1. Add support for Farmtek timers. This included adding a new tab on the Tools & Reports tab called Farmtek Timer Control. This tab allows for the serial port to be selected as well as the resolution for the time received from the automatic timers. There is a ‘Get Time’ button on the Time Entry screen, which is enabled if there is a connection with the timer. After the team has completed the run, select this button and the time and any barrier information will be populated on the Time Entry form. ATTENTION: The Farmtek Timer to PC Interface Cable and port configuration software must be purchased from Farmtek. Farmtek’s port configuration software must be installed using their installation procedures.

1. Fix a bug where the application will not opening when the application was closed while it was minimized.
2. Added new timer sheet, containing handicaps for teams.
3. Modified Contestants by Name report to specify if heading or heeling and added an * if the contestant was computer drawn for an additional run.

1. Added the functionality to add a team from the Time Entry screen. An ‘Add Team’ button was added to the screen to allow a team to be added to the end of the team list. Once the team has been added, the Time Entry form will open, allowing for that team’s time to be entered. This functionality is only available in the first round of a roping.
2. Added validation for numbers to be positive.

1. Modified Draw functionality when ‘Draw unique partners if possible’ is checked. It now checks the pick teams as well as the teams already drawn for the existence of the same team.

1. Add Delete Draw Teams button so that any teams that have been drawn will be removed. The draw entries will not be modified or removed, only the draw teams.
2. Modified the Enter Time form so that it retains is size and location from the last opening.
3. Modified the Enter Time form, adding a list of the first 10 teams in the next round. If the next round is the short go, no teams will be displayed.
4. Modified the Enter Time form, adding bolding and color changes to make information fields more readable.
5. Add Rounding to the nearest dollar check box to the Tools & Reports tab, allowing for rounding on the results payoff reports.
6. Add Report on paid entries only check box to the Tools & Reports tab, allowing for the payoffs to be calculated on only the number of paid entries, versus the number of teams. In the event that the computer draws partners and they do not pay, it is recommended that this check box be checked.

Carlsen's Roping Management Program (RMP) is designed to assist in the production of team roping jackpots. It will perform activities such as signing up teams or draw pot contestants, drawing partners, arranging teams for the roping, printing partner lists and timer sheets as well as keeping tracking of the times and winners of the roping. The RMP is capable of producing numbered ropings, drawpots, pick & draw and round robin ropings.
RMP fails to recognize a valid license
After purchasing a valid license, the RMP still limits the view of teams to 10 and behaves as though it is in demo mode. If you have data in the database that you don’t want to loose, backup the database using the Tools & Reports Backup Database utility. Note the directory in which the database backup was placed. Uninstall the application. Download the RMPInstaller_V1001.msi file and reinstall. Rename the backed up database from RMPData.backup to RMPData.mdb in the directory it was created.
